  • WHAT: For 50 years, the Museum of Space History has celebrated, inspired, shared, and preserved the remarkable story of New Mexico’s journey into space and integral role in the U.S. space program. Join us as we laud that milestone at the Museum’s 50th Golden Jubilee and Induction Ceremony on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the Tays Special Event Center.This Golden Jubilee honors the enduring commitment of the Museum as we welcome five new honorees into the International Space Hall of Fame: the trailblazing Mercury 13, NASA astronauts Mark and Scott Kelly, pioneering NASA mathematician Creola Katherine Johnson, NASA’s first aerospace nurse Dolores “Dee” O’Hara, and Nobel Prize winning astrophysicist Michel Mayor. Join us as we “Honor the Past and Inspire the Future”!
  • Tickets: $90 per person / $81 with Membership Discount
    Dress Code: Semi-formal / Business Formal
  • Guests can expect the following schedule:

Call for Nominees into the International Space Hall of Fame

The International Space Hall of Fame Foundation Induction Committee is seeking nominations into the International Space Hall of Fame at the Museum of Space History in Alamogordo, New Mexico. At the direction of the Governor’s Commission to the Museum of Space History and in close coordination with the museum, the ISHFF is spearheading the search for nominees for future Inductions.
